Valmeekam
(sanskrit word, means ant hill)
This 90 year old house was renovated with the help of local tribes. The entire house was restored using traditional Valmeekam methods like tribal mud plastering technique.
Walls were strengthened with a mix of paddy husk, soil, ant hill mud and gum from a special tree bark, mixed in certain proportions and applied by hand over and over again.
